I do light video editing with DaVinci Resolve and this laptop handles it surprisingly well. Export times are reasonable. The Ryzen 7 processor has enough power for hobbyist work.

Massive 1TB storage is amazing
The 16GB RAM is a game changer. My old laptop had 8GB and constantly struggled. Now I can have 20 browser tabs, Spotify, Word, and Excel all open without any lag. Multitasking is smooth.

I was considering a MacBook but this HP offers better specs for hundreds less. The build quality is solid. Aluminum finish looks premium. No creaking or flex.

No lag even with many programs open
Keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions. Good key travel and tactile feedback. Backlit with three brightness levels. Number pad would be nice but not essential for a 14 inch.

Upgrade from my old laptop was huge
Port selection is adequate. Two USB-A, one USB-C, HDMI, and headphone jack. USB-C supports charging which is convenient. Would have liked an SD slot.
