Homedics Premium Warm & Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier – Top-Fill Design with 58-Hour Runtime

I left this running on a medium setting while I went away for a long weekend. Came back and it was still going. The auto-shutoff kicked in right when it ran out of water, so no risk of burning out the unit. I’m impressed with the reliability.

My living room and kitchen are open concept so I needed a humidifier with enough output to cover about 800 square feet. This one on high setting keeps the humidity at a comfortable level throughout. I do have to refill it every day on high, but the top-fill makes it painless.

I specifically wanted a filter-free humidifier because I got tired of buying expensive replacement filters. This one is ultrasonic so no filter needed. The mist output is consistent and I haven’t noticed any white dust even with tap water, though I still use distilled for longevity.

My old Vicks unit was so loud I had to turn it off during Zoom calls. This Homedics model is nearly silent. I use the cool mist during the day while I work and the warm mist at night. My sinuses have been much happier since switching. The top-fill design is also much easier on my wrists.
