The print quality is actually decent for a kids' camera. It's thermal paper, so it's black and white, but the resolution is sharp enough to recognize faces and details. My son loves handing out prints to his friends at school. It's a great way to share memories without screens.
The print quality on the high setting actually makes the image darker, which is weird. We found the medium setting to be the sweet spot, bright enough and detailed enough. Play with the settings to find what you like.
It comes with a sheet of stickers so the kids can customize the camera. My son went to town decorating his, and now it's uniquely his. It adds a personal touch that makes them more attached to the gadget.
The thermal print speed is impressive, about 7 to 9 seconds per print. The kids don't get bored waiting. And the printing mechanism is quiet enough that it doesn't startle them. Well-engineered for young users.
I love that it uses a standard USB-C cable to charge. One less cable to carry around when we travel. And the battery lasts a few hours of mixed shooting and printing, which is plenty for a day trip.
