I devoured this book in one sitting. The pacing was perfect, the characters were lovable, and the hockey setting was authentic. Sarina Bowen knows how to write sports romance, and this is one of her best.

This book has so much heart. It's about forgiveness, growth, and finding your way back to the person you never really stopped loving. The emotional journey is just as compelling as the romance.

The misunderstandings that tore Zoe and Chase apart felt realistic and heartbreaking. It wasn't just a simple miscommunication—there were real stakes and real pain. Watching them work through it was cathartic and satisfying.

I loved getting to know the other players on the team, especially Darcy and Tremaine. Their chemistry was palpable, and I'm already counting down the days until their book comes out. Bowen has set up this series beautifully.

This was the perfect palate cleanser between heavier reads. It's sweet, fun, and has just the right amount of angst. The forced proximity, the second chance, and the great side characters made it an absolute joy to read.
