My baby was born during a water boil advisory in our city, so we couldn't use tap water for powder. These ready-to-feed bottles were our lifeline for two weeks. They're already sterile and safe, which gave us huge peace of mind during that stressful time.
My daughter is extremely picky and refuses any powder formula we've tried, but she drinks this RTF version eagerly. I think the taste is milder and more consistent. Yes it costs more, but a happy baby who finishes her bottle is worth every cent.
We use these for overnight feeds in the nursery. I keep a bottle warmer on the nightstand and grab a room-temperature bottle. By the time the warmer finishes, I'm barely awake but feeding is done. The 8 oz size is perfect for her 3 AM hunger.
My twins are now 6 months old and we go through about 6 bottles a day combined. This 24-count box gives us 4 full days. Buying in bulk from Sam's Club or Amazon makes the price more reasonable, and the convenience is non-negotiable with two babies.
We bought this for a cross-country flight and it was a lifesaver. TSA allows these in carry-ons as medically necessary, and the flight attendants were happy to warm them for us. My baby slept through all 5 hours thanks to having her usual food.
