I had it assembled and running within an hour. The hardest part was unpacking it from the box. Once it was out, the assembly was straightforward. The instructions include pictures which helped a lot.

Great for a bedroom
We put this in our master bedroom and it's been wonderful. We turn it on about 30 minutes before bed and the room is cozy without being stuffy. The low light from the flames makes a nice nightlight too.

Thermostat seems accurate
I've been using the thermostat function regularly and it seems to hold the room at the set temperature consistently. It cycles on and off as needed and doesn't overshoot too much. Works as advertised.

Heats my living room well
I have this in my 12x15 living room and it takes the chill off perfectly on cold mornings. The infrared heat warms objects and people directly rather than just heating the air. My wife and I can sit right in front of it and feel toasty within minutes.

Remote control works great
The remote is simple and works from across the room. I can turn the heat on or off, adjust the flame brightness, and set the thermostat without getting up from my chair. Perfect for when I'm already cozy under a blanket.
